While working as a reporter and fill-in anchor there, she earned an Emmy Award and two Emmy nominations for her stories.

She was chosen as a keynote speaker for BlogHer '08's Community Keynote Address, where she read her Suburban Turmoil post on The Wiggles.
She speaks often in Nashville to various women's groups and organizations.
Lindsay co-hosts a party for bloggers that's held annually at both the Mom 2.0 and BlogHer conferences, is sponsored by McDonalds, and was featured in the London Times.
As an online influencer to other moms, she has toured the Walt Disney World Resort and the General Mills Headquarters. She has worked with many brands on their social media campaigns, including Hallmark, Vicks, Lands End, Fox Home Entertainment, Best Buy, Macy's, and Walmart, to name a few.
