I Love

I can't stop thinking about this vintage party dress from the 50s, but at $350, there's a 0% chance I'll ever wear it. *sigh* Check out this Etsy seller's shop, Timeless Vixen Vintage, for similarly dreamy (and outrageously expensive!) dresses.

This gorgeous clip from Anthropologie works either in your hair or on your lapel. At just $18 and in five different colors, I'm in love.

I can't stop looking at this photo of Kate Beckinsale out shopping with her daughter. I love everything about her look, from head to toe. I think I've got versions of everything she's wearing, too. I wanted to replicate the look and started with the hairstyle the other day. My husband got home from work, took one look and said "Hey Bunhead." FAIL. But I still love this photo...

Kate looks very cute but those shoes look a little uncomfortable for a day of shopping! I thought of your blog when I was at the mall last night, wearing one of my many new scarves and noticing how many people were wearing them. I went to youtube to watch a video on scarf-tying! Anyway, I saw a mannequin with a scarf hanging down in the front and belted with a thin belt. The latest new thing, I assume!

Sarah, I think Kate Beckinsale is definitely one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood- Too bad she doesn't have the acting skills to match! I can think of only two movies of hers that have been any good- Serendipity and Cold Comfort Farm.

Jan, wedges are all the rage this spring! Those particular ones do look a little too high for me, but in general, I love wedges simply because they give me that high heel look without that high heel discomfort!

I love that vintage dress. I like Kate's look too, but the high heals are a little much, she should have worn some ballet flats for shopping.

There was a time when I would've worn that vintage dress to a thousand different events and therefor could've justified the cost... but now? *sigh*
Ah well... it's lovely to look at.

Jenny, I thought the heels were a little much, too, but hey, she's a Hollywood actress. If anyone has an excuse to wear stilettos while shopping, it's her!

Wow. That vintage party dress makes me cry a little. Gorgeous!

As for Kate Beckinsale, I'm going to buck the trend and say "meh." Yeah, she's pretty, but she seems like such a waste of space. Pretty can only get you so far.
