Hot for Spring

I spent the freezing cold weekend looking ahead to Spring by poring over the Spring 2010 fashion shows. For the most part, you can expect an ultra-feminine season, with lots of lace, ruffles, silk and chiffon fabrics, beaded detail, and the standout colors red and yellow taking center stage alongside classic black and white and quieter neutral beiges and caramels. Here are photos from a few of my favorite shows. The photo galleries from each of the ones I've featured are worth checking out in their entirety.

No, you probably shouldn't try it unless it takes the form of a cute dress with lingerie-esque details. Lingerie as outerwear generally works best on women under 25 who are out clubbing. The end.
